The guarantee

No lead in 90 days and you stop paying.

Most agencies answer this with a paragraph of reassurance. Here it is as a document: what gets measured, what is excluded, and what we will not claim.

Quick answer

What is the 90-day guarantee?

If your website has not produced a lead from SEO within the first 90 days of going live, you stop paying the monthly fee until it does. Billing resumes on the first qualified lead. Fees already paid are not refunded, and no ranking is promised. The clock starts on launch day.

The guarantee, word for word

Below is the clause, unedited. The same wording appears in the agreement you sign, so the marketing page and the contract agree.

If your website has not produced a lead from SEO within the first 90 days of going live, you stop paying the monthly fee until it does. Billing resumes on the first lead. There is no refund of fees already paid, and we do not promise a ranking or a ranking timeframe, because nobody can.

What makes that workable rather than decorative is 2 things. A lead has a definition tight enough to be settled by software, and the remedy is automatic.

Definition

What counts as a qualified lead

A qualified lead is one of exactly 2 things, and neither is a matter of opinion.

  • A unique inbound phone call of 60 seconds or longer, arriving from unpaid search. Unique means a repeat caller counts once.
  • A completed contact or quote form submitted through the website, carrying a name, a way to reply, and a message you can act on.

Both are measured, not estimated. Call tracking and form analytics go in the day the site launches, so at day 90 a log answers the question, not memory.

Why 60 seconds? A shorter call is usually a misdial or someone checking your opening hours. A minute is roughly where a stranger states what they want.

Exclusions

What does not count, and why each exclusion exists

A guarantee is only as honest as the things it refuses to count. The reason matters more than the rule.

Friends and family

Your brother-in-law ringing proves your family is supportive, not that a stranger searching Google can find you.

Existing customers

They already have your number. Counting them clears the guarantee in week 1 without the website contributing.

Suppliers and trade accounts

A wholesaler chasing an order is a business call, not demand. Counting it makes the number meaningless.

Cold sales calls

Directory resellers find a brand new website faster than real customers do. In month 1 they are the most common false positive.

Spam form submissions

Bot enquiries are filtered before they reach your inbox. What the filter catches, you never see and we never count.

Traffic from paid ads

The guarantee is written against SEO. Otherwise we could switch on an ad budget, buy an enquiry, and call it kept.

That list costs us the easy version of this promise, the one that pays out on day 4 when a neighbour rings. A guarantee counting your mother never had to be meant in the first place.

The limits

What we do not promise

  • We do not promise a position on Google, and we do not promise one by a certain date.
  • We do not offer refunds. The remedy is that you stop paying until the site produces a lead.
  • We do not guarantee how many leads you get, only that the first one arrives before you pay again.

Read enough agency websites and you meet the same sentence: position 1, or page 1 within a stated number of weeks. Nobody writes that honestly. Google's ranking systems update continuously, the competing pages in your suburb change without warning, and no agency controls either.

So a fixed-date ranking promise is one of 2 things. A guess wearing the costume of a commitment, made by someone relying on you never checking. Or true only because the keyword was picked to be winnable rather than valuable: rank first for a phrase nobody types and you get a screenshot instead of a customer.

That is why this guarantee is written against leads. A ranking is a metric you can be shown. A lead is a person who contacted you. Only one of them pays wages. A ranking claim used to sit on 60 pages of this website. It has been deleted.

When we do cite a ranking, we attach a name. Underpinning Sydney reached the top 3 for “underpinning Sydney”. Adelaide's Bathroom Network began ranking inside 8 weeks. Named businesses, not a pattern we promise to repeat.

The mechanics

Day 91, if the phone has stayed quiet

If the first 90 days pass with no qualified lead, 3 things happen without you having to email us first.

Billing pauses

The next invoice is not raised. No claim form, no deadline to notify us, nothing to chase.

The work continues

Hosting, backups, monitoring and portal change requests carry on at our cost. Our incentive is now that first lead.

Billing resumes on the first qualified lead

Dated from the day it arrives. The paused period is never invoiced later.

Fees already paid across those 90 days are not refunded, and we would rather say so here than bury it. We carry the whole build with nothing charged upfront, and the fee buys real running costs while the site is up. The pause keeps us obligated. A refund would let us walk away.

The delivery commitment

Live within 5 working days, or the year is free

A second promise is attached to the build itself. We deliver your site live within 5 working days of your completed intake. Miss that deadline through our own fault and you pay no monthly fee for the first 12 months.

Working days exclude weekends and Australian public holidays. The clock runs on our side of the exchange, so days spent waiting on your photos or approvals are not counted against us. We accept 4 builds a month for that reason, and 3 slots are open.

Disqualifiers

Who this guarantee is not for

These cost us enquiries. A promise with no disqualifiers is not a guarantee, it is a sales page.

Categories we do not build for

AHPRA-regulated clinicians, ASIC-licensed financial advice, litigation legal work, adult, gambling and controlled substances. That compliance load is more than a fixed monthly fee can carry.

Anyone who wants a call before starting

Everything runs by email and through the client portal. That is the cost structure making a $0 build possible. If a conversation is a precondition, we are the wrong provider.

Anyone who cannot supply content or approve on time

A build stalled waiting on photos cannot launch in 5 working days, and a site that never launches produces nothing in 90.

Businesses with no search demand to capture

If almost nobody searches for what you sell, organic search is the wrong channel and we say so rather than take the subscription.

The paperwork

Where the rest of it is written down

The 2 documents that bind us are public before you hand over anything. The service agreement carries every clause, including ownership of the site, the domain and the code, and the 30 days notice to cancel. The pricing page carries the number: $297 a month including GST across a 12-month subscription, $3,564 for the year.

Guarantee FAQ

The questions people ask before trusting a promise like this.

On the day the site goes live and tracking is verified, not the day you apply. The launch date is recorded in your portal.

No. Call tracking and form analytics record whether a qualified lead arrived. If none has by day 90, the next invoice is not raised.

Billing resumes from that date. The paused period is never invoiced later, so you pay from the point the site starts working.

No. We do not offer refunds, and you should read that here rather than find it in a clause. The remedy is the pause.

No. The guarantee covers unpaid organic search. Google Ads is a separate paid add-on, and counting an enquiry your own budget bought would defeat it.

Put it in writing and we read the record together: call duration and source, or the form and the page it came from. Ambiguity goes your way.

Apply with the guarantee already in front of you.

We take 4 builds a month and 3 slots are open. Apply in writing, get a written proposal back, pay nothing until launch.
